Today marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for three exceptional students who earned participation in the prestigious Eastern Caribbean Composes Summer Workshop 2024 held in Antigua. Royel Pemberton, Mikkal Walters, and Hannah-Marrie Williams departed St. Kitts and Nevis, filled with excitement and anticipation for the experience ahead.
The Ministry of Education extends sincere gratitude to Mr. Clyde Richardson for connecting the workshop organizers with the Ministry of Education. Mr. Richardson’s dedication to nurturing young talent and his extensive network within the music community played a pivotal role in securing these opportunities for the students. He is a renowned Kittitian musician who was awarded the Medal of Honour for Music and the Arts in 2022.
